Powerlifter Gerald Dionio (67.5KG) Lifts All-Time World Record Total Of 739.4 Kilograms

Dionio reclaims the all-time world record with his gold-medal performance in the Raw W/ Wraps category.

The all-time world record raw with wraps total in the 67.5-kilogram weight class once again belongs to Gerald Dionio. On May 15, 2021, at the 2021 World Raw Powerlifting Federation (WRPF) Apeman Strong Lift Angry contest, Dionio claimed gold and reclaimed the all-time world record total he previously set at 722.5 kilograms (1592.8 pounds) from the 2017 USPA CETC US Open Powerlifting Championships. Here were his stats from the event:

  • Squat — 264.9 kilograms (584 pounds)
  • Bench Press — 172.4 kilograms (380 pounds)
  • Deadlift — 302.1 kilograms (666 pounds)
  • Total — 739.4 kilograms (1,630 pounds) — All-Time World Record

According to Open Powerlifting, Dionio surpassed the previous record of 738 kilograms (1,627 pounds) scored by Michael Estrella at the 2019 USA-UA Boss of Bosses 6 competition. Check out all three of Dionio’s lifts in the videos below, courtesy of his Instagram page:

Note: Dionio lists his total as 1,631 pounds. However, the weights of the three lifts he listed in pounds total 1,630. The result is not yet available on Open Powerlifting.

Although he did not set a world record in any of the big three Dionio’s total consists of a squat that is nearly four times his body weight, a bench press that is over 2.5 times his body weight, and a deadlift that is 4.5 times his body weight.

For reference, here are the current world records for all three lifts in the 67.5-kilogram weight class (Raw W/ Wraps):

  • Squat — Kristos Papanotis, 290 kilograms (639.3 pounds), 2015 GPC-AUS Adelaide Cup
  • Bench Press — Eddie Berglund, 213.5 kilograms (470.7 pounds), 2018 EPF European Classic Powerlifting Championships
  • Deadlift — Daniel Clements, 310 kilograms (683.4 pounds), 2020 USAPL Virginia Winter Wrecker
