Lost Society
Lost Society has occupied this warren of rooms since the 1980s, which makes it a veteran of south London’s bar scene. And its appeal continues, partly, no doubt, because of the variety of its offering.
From Monday to Thursday, it’s a bar, plus a small restaurant offering a short, fairly straightforward menu. At the weekend, music takes over: live acts on Friday, DJs on Saturday. And on Sunday there’s a ‘tea party’,with cocktails, food and activities to while away the afternoon hours. It’s a nice formula, and there’s a lot we like about it. We also like the sensible and reasonably priced cocktail list, which has few airs and graces; a martini was well made, if slightly too dilute.
