Peak Climbing Club
The club has been climbing in the Peak District and all over the world for 70 years. We are an informal climbing club, happy to welcome new members or help passing climbers to find the best crags. We're based in the eastern Peak, with members from Sheffield, Barnsley, Rotherham, Chesterfield, Doncaster and villages in the Peak.
We are a mix of mainly rock climbers and boulderers, with members climbing at a variety of grades from easy to desperate. Our interests also extend to Scottish winter climbing and mountaineering, alpinism in Europe and South America, walking, mountain biking, kayaking and fell running.
We meet every Tuesday and Thursday evening to climb on crags in the Peak in the summer and indoors at one of the Sheffield walls in the winter. There are informal meets on many evenings and weekends. We also have a busy programme of weekend meets and longer trips further afield.
