Cestria Cycling Club was established in 1986 and is based in the Chester-le-Street area of England. Club members meet every Sunday at 9am for a 9.15am club run at Chester-le-Street Market Place. Once per month we have a 'steady ride' to encourage new members to join us on a club run. Non-members are welcome to come along and try us out - more details on all club events can be found in the Events Section or on the club Facebook Page. There are two events particularly associated with the club; the Terry Proctor 9.4 mile Time Trial on the Leamside circuit which takes place in June, and the Lanchester Peth Hill Climb in October. The club also hosts Cyclocross races for both the North East Cyclocross League (NECCL) and CXNE as well as it's own Time Trial mini-series.
