Brighton & Hove Taekwon-Do
Brighton and Hove Taekwon-Do School encourages all to learn this exciting and dynamic martial art. Everybody is welcome whether you are a complete beginner new to martial arts, just want to get fit, learn self-defence or strive towards attaining your black belt. We offer many classes across Brighton and Hove which should suit the most difficult schedule. We provide separate classes for children, "tots" classes for 3-6 year olds and 7 classes a week for adults and teens.
You are welcome if you have done or are training in other martial arts, or trained at a different Taekwon-Do school.
In Taekwon-Do, there are over 3000 different techniques which include punches, strikes, blocks, kicks and the flying and jumping kicks that this martial art is famous for. A student will learn the basic techniques: kicks, strikes, punches, blocks, developing strength, good muscle tone, balance, coordination, speed, power, flexibility, learning defence against attacks of all types including weapons such as knives and sticks.
