Bodmin Rugby Football Club
Bodmin RFC was first formed in the second half of the 1880s and in this respect was the first rugby club to formed in the county. The first player from the club to represent the county was B F Edyvean, who was also the captain of the county team. All the games were played on the Beacon, the highest landmark in the town. Bodmin RFC, bringing All Black style rugby to Cornwall since 1969.
